East Coast Stock Horse Association

The East Coast Stock Horse Association (ECSHA) is an outreach organization of Horsemen’s International Ministry. The ECSHA offers a family friendly, affordable, and fun environment to promote the versatility of the stock horse and is open to ALL horse breeds, as well as providing opportunities for fellowship with Christians and non-Christians during the events and around the campfire on Saturday evenings during Cowboy Church.

The ECSHA will be holding five events during the 2017 Show Season. These  events will occur in Reva, Virginia showcasing East Coast stock horses of all breeds and their riders. Contestants may qualify for year-end awards by competing in any three 2017 ECSHA shows.

ECSHA signature events include the stock horse classes, which entail reining patterns and individual cow work; the ranch versatility classes, which entail ranch riding, ranch cutting, reining, roping, and trail. Riders may enter any one class – or do all of them to be eligible for the ranch versatility award at year end. Riders may also try their hand at the new jackpot Cattle Drive class in which teams of two riders maneuver two cows thru an obstacle course. The ECSHA offers Open, Amateur, and Youth classes at every show.

Shows will also include AQHA Special Events consisting of Ranch Riding and Working Cow Horse classes, including the Boxing class pending AQHA approval.
